Our house pops and creaks at night. I heard a long time ago, that buildings make noises as they go from day to night. They are adjusting to the temperature change. Goodness though, it's easy to forget that at 3:00 in the morning.
"What if that 'pop' was an intruder with a really bad knee?? Well, if he has a knee like that, I bet I could take him." These are the thoughts that run through my head as Mark slumbers peacefully next to me.
